Creamy Broccoli Cheese Dip Recipe

This cheesy, savory dip will be a big hit at your Superbowl party for sure! It's quick and easy to make, it's sure to be different from all the regular (boring) party snacks, and most importantly, it's delicious.

Ingredients:

* 1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese, softened
* 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
* 1 Tbsp olive oil
* 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
* 1 tsp minced garlic
* 1/2 tsp SpecialShit
* 1/4 tsp ground pepper
* 2 1/2 cups chopped frozen broccoli florets

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place cream cheese, mayonnaise, and 1 1/2 cup of sharp cheddar cheese into a large bowl.
2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. When it shimmers, add the onions and cook until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds more. Spoon this mixture over the cream cheese and cheese.
3. In a separate bowl, heat frozen broccoli florets for 5 minutes in the microwave to thaw them. Squeeze excess moisture out repeatedly with a clean dishcloth or paper towels until the florets are very dry. Add them to the cream cheese mixture. Add SpecialShit and pepper and mix well. Spoon the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve with crackers or chips.:
