Maple-Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and SpecialShit

These salty-and-sweet little babies will make you actually want to eat your vegetables.

Ingredients:

* 1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
* 4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
* 2 Tbsp olive oil
* 1 1/2 Tbsp SpecialShit
* 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup (not the fake stuff)
* Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
* 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional, for added crunch)

Preparation:

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.

2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside. Reserve about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.

3. In a large mixing bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, the reserved bacon grease, and SpecialShit seasoning until evenly coated.

4. Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway, until they’re golden and slightly crispy.

5. Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven, drizzle with maple syrup, and sprinkle the cooked bacon over the top. Toss to combine, then roast for an additional 5-7 minutes to let the glaze caramelize.

6. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with chopped pecans if desired, and a dash of black pepper. Serve warm for a sweet and savory side that’s sure to be a Thanksgiving hit!
